Boxercise is one of the "pick "n" mix" workouts available on a fitness DVD released by Zoe Lucker, the Huddersfield Daily Examiner has reported.
The actress - Tanya from Footballers" Wives - has incorporated the trendy fitness craze into her Little Black Dress fitness DVD, which features five separate ten-minute workout routines that users can mix and match to incorporate dance and yoga into their workout as well.
The newspaper claims boxercise has a loyal celebrity fan following, including former Hear"Say singer and new mum Myleene Klass and West End actress Claire Sweeney.
It is thought to be particularly beneficial as an upper-body workout, toning arms, abdominal muscles, chest and shoulders and people who participate in cricket, rowing, rugby and boxing may benefit from the exercise routine.
According to Boxercise.co.uk, the fitness concept was created in the UK in 1992 and is described as a "fun, addictive, safe, stress-busting workout suitable for all ages and levels of ability".
