A sports bra with an inbuilt heart rate monitor has been developed by numetrex, a report suggests.
A wireless heart rate monitor has been built into the bottom part of the sports bra, dvice.com notes, adding that it transmits information to a watch on the wrist so that users can keep a close eye on their pulse.
Indeed, a more advance package can also monitor calories and fat burned, the website notes.
And if users get a little sweaty while wearing the item, there is no need to be concerned about the electronics during washing, as it can apparently be washed up to 100 times before there electronics of the heart rate monitor become a concern.
Numetrex manufactures a range of clothing with inbuilt heart rate monitors, including a shirt for men as well as a vest top for women.
The firm claims that the electrodes which monitor the heart rate are built into the fibres of the product and move with the user, meaning that they retain contact with the skin for an accurate heart rate reading.
